First Visit to KK Children's A&E and 1 Bad and Sad New!!!

As usual, about 6am, Janelle woke up for milk. Everything was smooth and fine until something happened!!! After Mummy finished feeding Janelle, she wanted to carry Janelle up and burp Janelle. Thing just happened too fast for Mummy to react. Mummy had accidentally dislocated Janelle's right arm!

Immediately, Janelle felt the pain and cried out loudly. Mummy can see that Janelle don't dare to lift up her hand. Mummy was so worried and panicky as she scared that she might had fractured Janelle's arm. Mummy quickly called Ah Ma and Yi Yi. Once Ah Ma and Yi Yi came, we went to KK Hospital immediately. Ah Ma and Yi Yi kept on comforting Mummy saying that it might be just a sprain and not fracture. Mummy was still worried even with these comforting words. Eventhough Janelle was in pain, Mummy can see that Janelle was still brave as Janelle didn't cry non-stop.

Once we reached KK Childen's A&E, the nurse stopped us to have our temperature taken first. There wasn't long queue, Janelle was 2nd in the queue. Although no long queue, we waited quite long. Janelle felt so tired that Janelle fell asleep while waiting. Mummy commented that the A&E looks nice!!!

Finally it's Janelle turn to see the doc. The doc asked Mummy what happen and Mummy explained everything to the doc. The doc didn't said much and just touched and "twisted" Janelle arm! Janelle cried out loudly!!! Then the doc said she's fine. Mummy got a shock. She's fine liao? Doc said that Janelle just had a dis-location. The doc had shifted it back to position.

Mummy was asked to bring Janelle out and mointor her movements for the next 20 mins. True enough, Janelle started to move her right arm! Yi Yi giggled with Janelle and Janelle giggled back. This proved that Janelle was fine! Mummy felt so relieved at this moment. After 20 mins, the doc came out and confirmed that Janelle was fine. After Mummy made the payment, Yi Yi need to rush to work. Mummy quickly drove Yi Yi to her workplace and follow by breakfast with Ah Ma.

After breakfast, Mummy told Ah Ma that she need to bring JoJo (dog) to see the vet at Mount Pleasant (East Coast) as instructed by Dr Lim yesterday. So once Janelle settled down at Ah Ma house, Mumy brought JoJo to the vet. The vet said that JoJo need to do x-ray. The result was a bad and sad news. JoJo was diagnosed with heart problem and water in her lungs!!! Mummy felt so sad about it.

Well, JoJo was asked not to do any strenuous exercise or get a shock. JoJo had to be on long term medication for her illness. The vet mentioned that luckily this illness was discovered earlier, if not it might get even worse. But vet also mentioned that JoJo illness is considered quite bad. Mummy quickly called Yi Yi and informed her about it. JoJo had to go back for follow up check up and x-ray again after 1 wk. Mummy and Yi Yi hope that long term medication can allow her to live on for another few years time. Let's all pray hard and bless JoJo for fast recovery!!!
